We offer, a story, experience, tasting, seeing, learning and doing it yourself!
During the Rum Quiz you will be able to get acquainted with different kinds of rum. Try the taste of rum without it being mixed with cola or in the form of a Mojito. Discover rum as a quality distillate that goes perfectly together with a Malt Whisky or a XO Cognac. Together with your own company you will taste different kinds of rum.
The host will tell you everything about the ingredients, origin and layering of the rum and how it affects the taste.
Important to know:
- You need a minimum of 15 people to participate
- The workshop lasts 1,5 hours
- The minimum age to participate is 18
Dyan Tjon
We are in collaboration with Dyan Tjon from Barblog.nl. Because of the collaboration we have his expertise when it comes to cocktails, this way we can make sure that we can meet the wishes and expectations of our guests.
Rum
Rum is a distillate on the basis of sugarcane. This strong drink has an alcohol percentage that can vary from 37,5% to 75%. It’s one of the most popular distilled drinks in the world. Originally rum comes from Brazil.
At the Rum Quiz you will get acquainted different kinds of rum. Discover the rum as a quality distillate that goes perfectly together with a Malt Whisky or a XO Cognac. During the rum tasting you will to taste different kinds of rum.
Combine
The RumQuiz workshop can easily be combined with other arrangements. Upstairs we have a restaurant, this is the starting point of many different activities. This is why you can easily and quickly expand the workshop with another activity, a nice dinner or just have a drink. We would love to help!
Location and parking
The location of this activity is at the Parkhaven, opposite the Euromast (Navigational address: Parkhaven 9). At the ship ‘De Zwarte Zwaan’ you’ll find our lasertag arena and the escape room of Escaping Rotterdam.
